Waking Up Blank

Review: Waking Up Blank - Sara Schoen - June 2015
One of my auto-buy authors lately has been Sara Schoen, and she was talking on Facebook about one of her earlier books that sounded right up my alley. So I wandered over to Amazon and one-clicked it. If you love YA murder mysteries, then Waking Up Blank is the book for you. One day four months ago, there were two best friends Maddie and Chelsea enjoying their last summer together before they went off to separate colleges. Fast forward four months and Chelsea has just woken up from a coma and has amnesia and has learned that her best friend Maddie is dead and now unless Chelsea can remember what exactly happened, her best friend's family want her charged with Maddie's murder. Now with the help of their guy friends, they will piece together what clues they can find to discover who beat Chelsea and killed Maddie. If they aren't careful though with their tracks, it might be too late for Chelsea as the person responsible is still out there and getting closer and closer to Chelsea as the days progress.  This was a fun, fast-paced read which I quite enjoyed as I love these types of stories - murder mysteries and amnesia - I'd read that anyday.
