Review: Jasper Vale - Devney Perry

Review: Jasper Vale - Book #4 The Edens Series - Devney Perry - January 2023

Lately, I have been reading my way through Devney Perry's family saga series The Edens, this is another family that I just love and would love to be a part of. One of my favorite themes that I love reading about is family saga stories which span over a good number of books. Normally these series have some big families which is great as that means more books. After finishing Jennifer Hanks's DiMarco family books, I was looking to find another great family, and The Edens are just that. Book #4 Jasper Vale was given to me as a bookstagram gift and is the story of Jasper Vale - Foster Madden's trainer and best friend ( Foster married Talia Eden) and Eloise Eden - manager of The Eloise Hotel. The book starts with a fun trip to Vegas as Foster is having a fight there and Talia doesn't want to watch alone, so she invites her two sisters Lyla and Eloise.  While in Vegas, Lyla heads back to the hotel to rest up but Eloise is having so much fun and ends up doing her own thing with Jasper Vale which includes a drunken marriage at the Clover Chapel ( for those who have read Devney's other series will recognize this name). When the pair get back, they realize what they have done and aim to get an annulment or divorce. However, before that they both need each other's help and they need their marriage to appear real. Can the pair work together to make everyone believe this marriage is real and then when it comes to the time, will they be able to go their separate ways or will they have realized, that they are great not only together in bed but also in their everyday lives? Without giving too much away, I will finish with that this book had an OMFG explosive moment in the second to last chapter that will leave readers holding their breaths in anticipation for the outcome. I am now looking forward to continuing with the series and reading Book #5 Crimson River.
