Review: Just a Little Promise - Tracie Puckett

Just a Little Promise (Just a Little, #4)

Review: Just a Little Promise - Book #4 Just a Little - Tracie Puckett - January 2012

In Book #4 Julie says goodbye to a friend Derek as he is wanting to start a new life as his sister is headed to prison and he knows that Julie will never love him the way he wants. Julie also is still pursuing her love for Luke and he has finally admitted to Julie that he does love her but now Julie and Luke's relationship is not going forward as well as they both wanted it as Uncle Charlie isn't happy with the age gap. We also read more into Luke's relationship with his father Lonnie and why it fell apart as in the previous book - Lonnie said his son was "dead" to him. The town is also praising Luke for being a town hero with his float designed by Julie and Grace ( Luke's stepmother). Can Julie help Luke repair the relationship with his father as they nearly lost him once before?  I have read the first four books in this series and each one was a quick read and a clean YA romance read filled with love triangles, slow-burn romance, and friendships.
