Review: Electric Idol - Book #2 Dark Olympus Series - Katee Robert - January 2022 This particular series has been on my list to read for a couple of years as I do enjoy stories based around the gods and goddesses and mostly Greek history. I even studied as part of my degree in Humanities. This series is a darker side of the Gods and Goddesses and thinking about it probably the closest as we have read that most of them weren't nice people especially those in the inner circles who held most of the power. In Electric Idol, the start is a party where women are introduced and paraded around the new Zeus aka the former Perseus as he needs a new bride and that female will become the new Hera. In Dark Olympus, we learn some of the roles are inherited and others are born into. Demeter is showing off her daughter Psyche as a potential bride for Zeus.
