Review: Spartan Frost - Book #4.5 Mythos Academy Series - Jennifer Estep - June 2013

Have you been following the awesome Mythos Academy series ? Fallen in love with Gwen Frost and Logan? Then get ready for Book #4.5 in the series which is a novella and told from Logan's POV rather than Gwen's as the other books are. This is one that will tide readers over till Book #5 is released early next year. At the end of Book #4 we discovered that the evil god Loki had been set free and that Logan's stepmother had been working for him on the Reapers team. Loki needing a new body host took over Logan's body and caused him to harm Gwen Frost. In Spartan Frost , we read as Logan is recovering from the incident when all of a sudden his Spartan skills are needed as Reapers attacked once again. The thing that I hated about this book though , well not really hated but annoyed me was the fact it finishes on a major cliffhanger that made me go NOOOOOOOOO as now I have to wait for the next book as tragedy once again has struck Mythos Academy at the Reaper's hands.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
