Review: Sugar and Spies - Rebekah Martin

Review: Sugar and Spies - Book #1 Spy Sisters - Rebekah Martin - December 2012

Sugar and Spies and all things nice make up these two stepsisters. Riley is now a SAHM who all her life has been working until recently in the local bakery department of the supermarket whereas Stella is working as a spy for the CIA. During their school years, Riley was always the peppy and popular one whereas Stella lurked in the back and kept to herself. Now Stella as found herself back at home as Riley's husband Brad was caught bonking Shannon - Riley's now ex-bff, to make matters worse Riley is due any day with Brad's second child. If that wasn't bad enough , Stella has for the past few years been on the run from the Russians and they have now discovered her full "real name". Is she jeopardizing her family's safety by coming home to support Riley ? What happens when chaos and trouble hits and you have one sister who is pregnant , hormonal and angry at all guys and the other who is a normally calm and collected spy but will do anything to protect the ones she loves ? Fans of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series will love this as Riley reminded me of Val and Stella of Stephanie.
