Review: Breath - Jackie Morse Kessler

Review: Breath - Book #4 The Riders of the Apocalypse Series - Jackie Morse Kessler - April 2013

One of my favourite series that I have been reading is the Riders of the Apocalypse series in which we read in the past three books of Death recruiting humans who wanted to end their lives as Riders of the Apocalypse - The Four Horsemen. In Breath, which is the last book of the series this one focuses on the Pale Rider aka Death. Contrary to popular belief, Death itself can eventually die and it is time for Death to retire and hang up it's scythe. Death has one guy in mind for the job Xander. Years ago, Death gave Xander not one but two chances and never forgot his kindness. Now Xander is at a crossroads and found that he can trust no-one. After conversations with Death , is Xander ready to take on the challenge as the Pale Rider ? Can he say goodbye to his family for good or will when it comes to the crunch will he balk ? Also keep reading as the epilogue of this book has an awesome twist with the remaining three main characters from the previous books.
