Review: Nothing More To Tell - Karen M McManus

Review: Nothing More to Tell - Karen M. McManus - August  2022

You know how you have those authors that no matter what they publish, you will read? For me, Karen M. McManus is one of those authors as I love YA thrillers, and her books despite being different characters and different stories all connect one way or another. I am now up-to-date with Karen's books and can't wait for her latest one in the One can Keep a Secret series. Nothing More to Tell tells the tale of Brynn Gallagher and her sister Evie who have moved back to their small hometown after living away for a few years. When Brynn left, her best friend was Noah aka Tripp and he broke her heart by calling her a stalker. That was also the day that one of her favourite teachers Mr. Will Larkin was found murdered in the woods by the school. He was found by Tripp, Charlotte, and Shane who claim they stumbled upon him. After a scandal at her last school, Brynn wants to get back into her journalism and what better than a Motive internship, I think this would be a pretty cool job and definitely on my list of things I would love to be doing. Motive is a new true crime podcast TV show and Brynn has pitched them the story of Will Larkin's murder to this day it remains unsolved and Brynn knows something isn't right. When she starts back at school, she learns that Tripp, Shane, and Charlotte are the best of friends and they have a tight circle. Can Brynn infiltrate the circle and discover the truth or will someone try their hardest to keep the truth hidden? Find out in another great YA thriller by Karen M McManus. The other thing that I enjoyed about this book is that they brought up her previous stories of One Can Keep a Secret aka The Bayview Four and Evie's desire to be the next Maeve Rojas and You'll Be the Death of Me with the three Carlton High students who discovered their dead classmate. If you love YA thrillers, then Karen M McManus is the author for you as she does not disappoint.
