Review: Recklessly Royal - Book #2 Suddenly Series - Nichole Chase - March 2014

In Suddenly Royal, we saw Sam discover that she was in fact not a commoner but a Duchess and part of the Royal family in Lilaria. At the end of Suddenly Royal, we read as Sam fell in love with the Prince and now in Book #2 Recklessly Royal , we read as Sam is preparing for her royal nuptials with Alex and she will go from being a Duchess to Princess and then of course eventually she shall become Queen. Book #2 focuses though mainly on Alex's younger sister Catherine aka Cathy when she's at home and behind closed doors as well as to her closest friends. As a Princess , she has always found herself busy with events and family commitments and of course every time she tries to date it is discovered that they are using her only because she is royalty. What Cathy wants is what her brother Alex has found, someone to love her for herself and not because of her title and it seems that she may have found it with Sam's American friend and co-worker David who has come over to Lilaria to help with the bird foundation. Though will Cathy be able to switch off her commitments and royal side and be able to relax or will her royal side be what will push David away from her ?  Can Cathy be shown that being Royal doesn't always mean you have to be perfect all the time and that sometimes it's alright to be reckless and to let your hair down once and a while.
Is this time around Cathy's time to finally find love and give her "V" card up once and for all?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
