Review: Love Like the Movies - Victoria Van Tiem - February 2014

As soon as I saw this book and it's blurb, I knew I had to read it as I am such a movie buff and even more so when it comes to chick flicks. Though my top ten list would be different than the main character's Kensington's and Shane's. Love Like the Movies focuses on Kensin
gton who is A) has just got engaged , B) been told she might lose her job due to cut funding if they don't get this next account and C) the account turns out to be her ex-boyfriend Shane - the one who got away, her first true love. Now the whole account rides on her and Shane has a few tricks up his sleeve as his idea is a movie/restaurant complex and in order for the company Kensington works for to get the account - she must live ten movie moments with Shane from his list of Top Ten Chick Flicks. As the story goes along , we read as Kensington holds her ground with Shane as she stays true to Bradley despite the way she feels about Shane. I really admired the character Kensington for this , even more so when Bradley turned out to be a jerk. Is this life's way of giving Shane and Kensington a second chance at happiness through the one thing that they both love and admire , their guilty pleasure - the art of the chick flick ?
Find out in this awesome book and if you are like me and love and I mean LOVE your Chick Flick movies , then this is the book for you.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
