Do Not Disturb (Deanna Madden, #2)

Review: Do Not Disturb - Book #2 Deanna Madden Series - A.R Torre - April 2015

It's been about a year or just over since I read a print copy book, after leaving the library in April last year, I started relying more on my kindle for books and trying to clean the books off the device. I was recently staring at my bookshelf and felt the need to try and clean some of the books off the shelves. This was one series where I read the first book years ago and enjoyed and picked up Books #2 and #3 on sale at the Warehouse a few years back. They were 2 for $12. Do Not Disturb by A.R Torre takes us back to Deanna Madden who as readers who have read the first book will remember is an agoraphobic cam girl named Jess Reily. At the end of the first book, Deanna stepped outside of her apartment - for the first time in 4 years. Now she is testing her freedom slowly in Do Not Disturb and has a potential boyfriend named Jeremy who is a deliveryman and delivers her packages. She even brought herself a car and went out to restaurants. Her killing tendencies are also under control, that is until a disgruntled customer of her camgirl site doesn't like the fact that she shut him down and out of her site. He has come for revenge, as nobody tells Marcus no. The thing though is that he doesn't know that he's about to meet his match and this time, it's his turn for payback and karma comes to bite him on the bottom. I am now excited to read Book #3 and the last one in the trilogy of Deanna Madden and maybe we also get to find out more about this Dr. Derek and Deanna's family as more clues about her life and the reason she thinks she is a killer and needs to be locked in at night were explained in Do Not Disturb.
