Review: Good Night ( Not Really) - Nan Evenson - September 2021

Have you got one of those children who you tell them Good Night and they are like one more story or the classic I'm not ready for Bed yet cry? This fun book by Nan Evenson is the perfect bedtime story for children aged 3-6 years old. It is also a great book to learn how to count forwards and backward from 10. In Good Night (Not Really), our two children aren't quite ready to drift off into sleepy land and so the book begins in a fun countdown to sleepy town filled with fun animals and wild antics, even getting a few numbers confused.  The illustrations in this book are so gorgeous and perfect if you're on the lookout for a counting book for your child or the simple fact that your child loves animals.  I can't wait to be a mum myself, as picture books these days are just so wonderful and attractive with beautiful illustrations, and with Christmas coming up around the corner, this is the perfect book for children.
