Review: Someone Else's Shoes - Jojo Moyes - February 2023

Recently, I discovered a New Zealand book subscription box from a company called The Book Shoppe. I decided to try my first box and received the book "Someone Else's Shoes" by Jojo Moyes. In the book box, there were three little gifts wrapped up and each gift was to open up on a certain page.  The first gift was on a page that talked about flowers and I got a flower print, the second talked about how a guy smelled like citrus and got some delicious-smelling soap and the last page talked about being a strong woman and donning some red lipstick and the gift was red lipstick by Karen Murrell. I am now excited to receive the other books monthly and already have two lined up. Now back to the book, it had been a while since I read a really good chick-lit novel, and reading this one brought back great memories of when I first started writing book reviews over at Chicklit Club. Someone Else's shoes start when two females accidentally end up switching bags at the gym. Sam is a down-to-earth mother who is trying to keep her family afloat with work as her husband is depressed and her new boss walks all over her Nisha, is a rich wealthy woman whose husband has kicked her out and she has been left with nothing. What happens though when the females end up meeting and start to work together to help one another in their lives?  Someone Else's Shoes was such a good read and remind readers that sometimes we do need to take a walk in someone else's shoes to appreciate what we have in life.  If you love chick lit novels and women's fiction, then Someone Else's Shoes by Jojo Moyes is the read for you. I also think this would make a great movie or TV show.
