Priceless - Nicole Richie

It seems lately, that actors/singers etc are tyring their hands at all areas of the creative arts as we see many of them releasing a book, though not recognised - I admire the Ghost writers that I presume help these actresses/singers/celebrities with their books.

When I got this book , I thought great another celebrity written novel and by Nicole Richie of all people and also the thoughts "I might as well give it a go" popped into my head. After not being too impressed with "The Truth about Diamonds" , I didn't really have a high expectation of this book and boy was I wrong. Priceless by Nicole Richie was such an awesome read that I didn't want to put it down at all , it was so addictive with all the twists and turns and suspense as readers awaited to see what would happen next. Priceless stars Charlotte Willams - a socialite and Park Avenue Princess - she is your average rich, spoilt princess with money galore and everything handed to her on a silver platter. When her dad ends up arrested for embezzlement , Charlotte is left penniless and alone so she hops to New Orleans to stay with an old family friend/servant Millie. It is in New Orleans that Charlotte is befriended by Kat Karraby and Kat helps Charlotte find a job and make a new life for herself. As Charlotte re-finds herself , things start taking a turn for the worse as she has a stalker as well as a website dedicated to how much she sucks. This is your average riches-to-rags story , however the way it is written and flows will have readers not wanting to part with it and also the excitement on who the stalker is when revealed officially.
