Review: Any Way You Slice It - An Upper Crust Novella - Monique McDonnell - August 2014

Are you a fan of arranged marriage novels ? What about ones that start off as shams but later fall into the category of something real and true ? After reading The Academic Bride, I was on a groove with wanting almost like Marriage broker novels and by chance I found one on my Kindle - Any Way You Slice It which by the way I love the title :) . In Any Way You Slice it we meet Australian Piper who has been living in the States and has started an amazing Pie Food Truck business that is on it's way to booming level, when she gets some bad news - her visa is about to expire and unless a miracle can happen. She has one month before she is deported back to Australia and can kiss her business Aussie Pie Trucks goodbye. Enter her best friend with a clever idea , she can pretend to marry her cousin Aaron who is a lawyer as he is in a bit of a dilemma as in order to make Partner in his law firm he needs to brush up his skills and look like he has settled down as partners are supposed to be responsible and bachelors are far from the ideal pick. This way both of them win , but what happens when the line starts to get blurred from fake marriage to real feelings ? Can they both see where the new reality begins or will they think the other is playing a game nad really good at the charade ? Will Piper and Aaron realise before it's too late that they actually love one another ?
A book that if you loved the movie The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds you will be sure to enjoy reading.
Find out in Any Way You Slice It by Australian authoress Monique McDonnell.
