Review: Under the Mistletoe With Me - Book #1.5 With Me in Seattle - Kristen Proby - December 2012

Scrolling through the Kindle looking for something to read can be a fun adventure as I click on a random page number and then choose a book from that page. It helps me when I can't quite figure out what exactly I am in the mood to read, a life of a mood reader right ?? It had been a while since I had read a Kristen Proby book, but I have always enjoyed the sweet romance that came with these stories. In Under the Mistletoe by Kristen Proby, it is Christmas time and we meet Issac Montgomery and his wife Stace Montgomery, and their cute baby Sophie. I enjoyed this one as Stace is a book blogger and there is a good table conversation about books and romance erotica stories. During the dinner, Isaac gets a phone call. When he comes back Stace asks him and he lies to her, she starts to get worried and a bit suspicious. The book then jumps to Black Friday sales and while Stace is out, she gets a string of random sexting texts from Isaac. What is going on as he never sends her these or talks to her like this? Stace thinks the worst and confronts Isaac. Is he cheating on her or has Stace taken things out of context? Will Isaac like the secret Stace has for him or will it rock their marriage? Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
