Review: Promise - Adele Niles
Review: Promise - Book #1 Richland Heights High Series - Adele Niles - November 2019
Three years ago Katy was busy
living the rich life in Richland Heights with her mum and dad when her dad
ended up having an affair with his boss's wife and the world as Katy knew it
came crashing down as her dad lost her job, her friends turned on her and
her parent's got divorced. Katy vanished without a trace, now three years later
she is back and has reinvented herself as Lawson - someone who won't just rollover.
Her mum and boyfriend Greg are moving away and so Lawson has to live with her
dad in her old stomping ground. When Lawson arrives she meets the daughter of
whom her dad is dating and then heads to a party where Jordan, Titus and Parker
are all at. Lucky for Lawson, they don't recognize her as she has changed in
the past three years and turned hot. With her new identity Lawson's goal is to
get revenge on those who humiliated her and lucky for her they don't recognize
her, that is until we get to the cliffhanger where Lawson is reunited with
Annie - her former best friend. Will Annie blow Lawson's cover or will she end
up helping Lawson out? Find out in the Richland Heights High series by Adele
Niles. Compared to the other bully romances - this first book was very tame and
was more like a setting-up for the story.
