VBT# Bookish Princess - C. Lesbriel
Review: Bookish Princess - C. Lesbriel - May 2020
Moving on with the Modern Princess Collection Series, we meet our Bookish Princess aka Bella Buckland aka Imogen Thomas. Bookish Princess is our Beauty and the Beast tale of Camelot University. Bella belongs to one of the local gypsy families and has been more interested in books and studying and education instead of a wife, a mother, and a homemaker . The thing though Bella doesn't have a choice in the matter as when she was fifteen, her parents and another gypsy family organized an arranged marriage. Bella was supposed to get married as soon as she turned eighteen but she managed to talk her parents into letting her get an education first with the promise that as soon as she graduates she will marry. For Bella who has enrolled in school as Imogen Thomas, she is doing everything she can to postpone the marriage as it is to her arch-enemy, Hunter. Hunter has been terrorizing and annoying her since she was a child. Like most gypsy men, Hunter has been making himself a career in the world of MMA and underground fighting and unlike Bella, he is ready to accept his fate. As the days start to countdown to Bella's graduation, can Hunter prove to Bella that he has changed and not the monster she views him as and that deep down he does love her and would do anything for her? Find out in C. Lesbriel's Bookish Princess - a story of family honor and love that always wins out in the end as after everything is gone, that can be the only thing left in a person's life.
