All Ainsley Crawford had wanted was to become a sucessful Trauma nurse but one day, she sees one of the Doctor's skimming funds and is worried about what it could do to the future patients and tattles on him , but of course nobody likes a tattletaler and Ainsley finds herself stacked up against the wall with allegations against her and not in her favour. She is left with no choice but to resign. Needing a new job , Ainsley is pointed to a research assistant/ secretary job working on a top secret job for Dr. Delano Bowen. He is trying as we discover , to find a cure for this disease called "Vampirism". He has discovered after 170 years that their is a bloodline known as the Merzetti's whose blood can reverse the disease . People have heard it for centuries and thought it was just a rumour. However Delano , has located one of the last Merzetti's - Ainsley Crawford and now will do everything he can to win her co-operation - even if it means staging vampire coups and thinking she's her knight in a cloak with fangs. As the story goes along like any paranormal romance we discover the heat and passion rise between Ainsley and Delano , but will Ainsley flee leaving Delano back at square one when she discovers his betrayal or will they find a way to overcome their differences and hurts and be together ?
