Review: A Shameless Little Lie - Meli Raine

A Shameless Little Lie (Shameless, #2)

Review: A Shameless Little Lie - Book #2 Shameless Series - Meli Raine - March 2018
At the end of Book #1, we were left with the cliffhanger of discovering Jane's father which we see the results in Book #2 and Lindsay is still left wondering who her father is. Silas and Jane's relationship is starting to improve, that is until more "tips" come in and start pointing her as the person behind Silas's sister Tricia's death. When will the hits for Jane stop coming? Can't the people around her see that she is innocent, just like her mother was? Or are they wanting to make her look as guilty as her mother, so like her mother they can kill her without people wanting to care? After Tara's death in Book# 1, Jane wants more answers and when Mandy reaches out to her, she jumps at the opportunity to meet up. What will happen when Mandy reveals that Lindsay wasn't the main target all along and that five years ago Jane was supposed to be the intended target? What is so special about Jane? I have to admit, I am getting freaking annoyed with Drew and think that there is something odd about him. As he seems to be the only one who still thinks Jane is guilty and it makes you wonder if he is the mole. The book ends on a major cliffie which had me thinking maybe I am on the right track with Drew Foster.  It's like did he marry Lindsay because he loved her or did he marry her so that he could have top access to the Senator and secrets? I am now eager to read the last book as OMFG Please let Silas be ok and live arghhhhhhhhhhhhh and also is Duff really Jane's secret informer?
