Seduction & Temptation (Sins, #0.5)

Review: Seduction and Temptation - Book #0.5 Sins Series - Jessica Sorensen - June 2014

With 2021 nearing the end, I decided to try and clear what older titles that I can off my kindle. The Sins series, I read the first book a few months back and enjoyed it. Seduction and Temptation is the prequel to the first book and sets the scene. In Seduction and Temptation, we read the few defining moments in Lolita aka Lola's life that made her who she is today. The first was her mother's death which she was convinced was foul play, but nobody believed her. The second was finding the letter from her mother addressed to Everson which we find out more about in Book #1, the third was her losing her virginity to Layton - her former best friend and last but not least, her first time shooting someone and now as we know from Book #1 which is set a few years later, Lola must choose to face the consequences for her action as it's only a matter of time before death comes for her or run and make a new life away from her mobster ties and the drug scene she grew up in and become someone else. Seduction and Temptation by Jessica Sorensen is a great gritty and edgy NA romantic suspense and a quick read.
