The Game of Boys and Monsters

Review: The Game of Boys and Monsters - Rachel M Wilson - October 2014

In the mood for a quick supernatural short story/novella read? Brought out by Harper Teen Impulse as part of a series provided as part of Epic Reads Impulse. I was in the mood for something quick to read and trying to clean my kindle of the older books, I decided it was finally time to give it a read. It was a fast-paced book and perfect for those teens who reach the stage of being interested in Vampires and Werewolves - so that 15-16-year-old bracket. I remember being this age and started leaning towards Vampires rather than Werewolves. In the book, the girls Leslie and Evy are best friends and the two learn that guys are either Vampires or Werewolves. They are either cold, calm and collected, and mysterious or warm, loveable, and fun guys. The girls have fun trying to guess and are close as thieves until two new boys known as The Marsh Brothers turn up and insert themselves between the girls and the girls learn that just like boys - girls can be either a Witch or a Ghost but which one is which? If you love creepy YA stories then this is the book for you that will just hit the spot.
