Rebel Girls Mean Business: 25 Tales of Entrepreneurs and Investors

Review: Rebel Girls Mean Business - Awesome Entrepreneurs - May 2022

If there was one series that I wished existed when I was younger it would be the Rebel Girls series.  When I was little, we had encyclopedias and there were a lot of male role models but hardly any female ones talked about. Our world was mainly male-dominated and also it was all about businessmen rather than entrepreneurs but with the rise of the internet and the digital world and also feminism becoming a popular term, there are plenty of great female role models for girls today in all areas. Myself, my heroes were Jacqueline Wilson, Nancy Pearl, Nancy Wake, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Audrey Hepburn, and Nellie Bly, women who all started their journeys in their 20's + and now we have children as young as 5-10 years old becoming strong role models to children all around the world. It is so inspiring and powerful to read. Rebel Girls Mean Business spotlights 25 female entrepreneurs and investors in several categories and the best thing is the Rebel Girls books are all about diversity and inclusivity so there are all races and genders etc. Nobody misses out - only the Men haha as this is all about having strong female role models. The Rebel Girls series are perfect for girls aged between 9 to 15 years old and if you have a girl under the age of 9 in your family, the stories can be used as bedtime read-aloud as each one is only a page long, the perfect size for just before bed.
