Review: I Will Make You Pay - Teresa Driscoll

Review: I Will Make You Pay - Teresa Driscoll - October 2019

Alice Henderson's Wednesday started like normal, that was until when she was at her job with the newspaper she got a call threatening her life with a cheese cutter string. Shaken, she headed to the coffee shop where someone had already pre-ordered her coffee- it was like this caller knew her exact steps and her order. As the book goes along, Alice starts to dread Wednesdays as she knows that day she will receive a call from her stalker and something awful will happen. Who is stalking Alice and Why are Wednesdays important to them? Has she pissed someone off with her newspaper columns? We soon learn when the police get involved that Alice's name wasn't always the same and that a few years ago she was involved in a scandal that sent her fiancee to prison and to start fresh, she moved away and changed her name. Is he the stalker especially as he is now out of prison and cannot be located or is it someone else closer to Alice? This was a great thriller and as it's a revenge-based novel, we see the past/present timeline come into action. I Will Make You Pay by Teresa Driscoll was a great thriller that kept me guessing when the "stalker" was revealed, I was shocked as I didn't see this twist coming.
