Apollyon has never really had any interest in falling head over heels for those dammed mortal girls until he is called to Earth on a mission , in none other than the city of love - Paris. Apollyon has waited years upon years , centuries for the call from his master . Until he is called and it seems like this call is coming from a female not his master. When Apollyon arives to Paris , he meets Serenity - she is the one he has been watching and Serenity has a dark secret - she is a witch . Upon their first meeting , she thinks that he has been called down to kill her and rid her of her powers, she doesn't realise in fact that she is the one who holds the power and her wish is his command. It seems that Serenity has just been dumped and heartbroken - we all know how that can feel and like any angry and hurt ex she wants revenge, the only difference is she has the power to bring on board a hunky fallen angel to help and assist her in making her ex-boyfriend Edward jealous. As the story progresses we realise that the two are falling in love, is their a first time for Angels as well as Apollyon who proclaimed to never fall in love with a mortal woman is discovering unawakened and doormant feelings and emotions for Serenity. A nice love story which includes the sexiness and sultriness of a paranormal fiction. It's books like this that make us women reply and scream "I want a hunky dark angel of my own".
