Banana Cream Baron (Sugar & Spice #3)

Review: Banana Cream Baron - Book #3 Sugar and Spice Series - Rosie Chase - July 2020

If you are looking for a sweet romance series and love baking and reality TV then this series is super-cute and for you. In Sugar and Spice, we first met The Cake King who for his sister who is getting married decided to pick nine bakers and have a competition to see who would make the cake for his sister's wedding. In Book #3 we meet contestant Maya who I loved her character as she may be great at baking but she doesn't love it, her passion is writing romance books. She also is on the spectrum and loves spouting off random facts and has a comfort toy sheep in her pocket called Daisy. She would have to be one of my favorite characters in this series as I could relate to some of her quirks. During the competition, she meets Mechanic Cole who is Hawaiian and though he is a mechanic, his dream is Diving and being in the water. He also has a brother on the spectrum and even better for Maya, he is like the romance heroes she writes and the cherry on the top is that he loves her for her. Can Cole prove to Maya that he loves her for all her quirks and that he is willing to go as fast or as slow as she needs him as he is willing to wait for her forever? I loved this romance as it was not only easy to read but both Cole and Maya were amazing characters and you could feel the love and the patience each one had radiating off the pages. Just like the previous two books, Banana Cream Baron was another super-sweet book in the Sugar and Spice series and if you are looking for a sweet romance read, then check out Banana Cream Baron by Rosie Chase.
