Kill With Me

Review: Kill With Me - Melody Adams - August 2020

This book had caught my attention on Booksirens as it boasted as a "modern-day Bonnie and Clyde". For those who don't know, Bonnie and Clyde were one of history's most famous female and male duos for killing and crimes.  The book starts with Bonnie killing a Judge and then after her crime, she turns and sees Clyde who had his plans for the Judge. He then proceeds to have his way with Bonnie and kidnaps her and slightly blackmails her. He plans to make her his own and his partner, but his weird mind means that he has to break her first and torture her to submit to him. I have to admit that I had hoped to see more of the crime aspect rather than the sexual / relationship side which is what this book focused on. It should be read with an open mind and if dark romance and R18 rated books aren't your styles, then you won't enjoy this book as it is a twisted dark read as bordered slightly on a case of Stockholm Syndrome but not as in her weird way Bonnie wanted to be with Clyde. If you love dark romances and wanting an edgy read, then check out Kill With Me by Melody Adams.
