Review: Kate - Jennifer Hanks ( DiMarco Series)

Kate (The Dimarco Series, #5)

Review: Kate - Book #5 The DiMarco Family Series - Jennifer Hanks -October 2018

You know how sometimes you read books about families and just sit there and think I wish I was a part of their family. For me, one of the families I wish I could belong to is the DiMarco's. This family just screams genuineness and happiness and they radiate caring and you can't help but feel safe with the family despite, of course, bad things do happen. In Book #5, we have the introduction of Kate and her son Andy who have just moved to their small town- New Hope  to start fresh. She isn't looking for romance as she has always been hurt by men in the past. She doesn't trust anyone now and has her walls up.  Kate gets a job bartending at Hanks and meets Pike as he is one of the bouncers. One day on her way to work, she has had the worst day ever and is pulled over by a police officer aka Luke DiMarco. He lets her off with a warning, but for Luke, she is his "future wife" and now he will search her out and claim her as his own. The thing though is she is closer than he thinks, but she isn't one to just rollover. She will make Luke fight for it as Kate is a fighter too. Like the previous books, this book has its HEA romance but also, it's suspense moments as Kate attracts a stalker, her house burns down and now a biker gang is after her. Can Luke protect the ones he loves as now he has had a taste of family life with Kate and Andy, he doesn't want to live without them? Find out in Book #5 of the DiMarco Series. We also catch a glimpse in Book #5 - Grace's love story with Tyler and also a bit about Maggie O'Brien who features in one of Jennifer Hank's spin-off series Sinners MC.  If you love family sagas, then this is one series you do not want to miss out on. So, check it out starting with Book #1 Lucy.
