Review: Dare - Rowdy Rooksy

Dare (Bradford Academy, #1)

Review: Dare - Book #1 Bradford Academy - Rowdy Rooksy - August 2020

This particular book I have had sitting on my kindle for at least over a year now and it was one I wanted to read but just never felt like the right time. I am in two minds now that I have read it. I did enjoy the storyline and got sucked into the story but of course, it ended on a major cliffhanger and the downside for me is that the author hasn't in the last two years since this book was released - published the sequel as she had initially planned :(. I hate when that happens. The other thing that frustrated me was that this book had quite a few of the same spelling errors throughout and simple ones too. Dare is a Bullymance with a twist as it has our poor girl Fallon Gamble's mother dying and then leaves her discovering the truth about her dad's side of the family - that they are one of the richest families in Texas.  Fallon heads to her father's hometown and meets her grandfather. Fallon is the only heir to the Gamble fortune and is thrust into the world of wealth where $100K is chump change. As Fallon's family is top of the wealth chain, she will find herself a target from bullies, but also earn the affection of all the top bachelors and hotties of Bradford Academy. Is Fallon ready for this world or is she too nice? Find out what happens when a Dare goes wrong and she is now faced with the decision of a lifetime - to do what is lawfully right or keep her mouth shut to protect her family name and others around her? Is Fallon ready to admit that the world of the wealthy has different rules than everyone else? Find out in Dare by Rowdy Rooksy.
