Review: Break Point - Rachel Blaufeld

Review: Break Point - Rachel Blaufeld - January 2017

Juliette Smith was always destined to become an amazing tennis player, that was until she had a setback when during a hazing gone wrong, she ended up sexually assaulted. This caused her to have a breakdown and she moved back home. Now at 20, she is starting a new college and hoping to get back on track with her tennis. That is until she meets her new coach Drew King who is about her age and sexy. The pair have a strong connection and start up a forbidden romance. Eventually, he leaves, but when he does this once again sets Juliette on a course veering away from her tennis dreams. The book then jumps seven years later and Jules is living as Claire and working as a waitress as well as being a single mum to a six-year-old daughter named Darla Katherine. Jules has just moved to NC and imagine her surprise when her daughter's new tennis coach happens to be none other than Drew King.  Drew lost Jules once but this time he isn't going to let her go, especially when he discovers her past and that he now has a daughter he wants to know. Can Jules let Drew into their family or will she be afraid that he will hurt both her and Darla again? Find out in this cutesy tennis romance, that was a nice sports romance read with a good strong storyline and a book that pulled me out of a little reading slump.
