Review: My Dark Romeo - Book #1 Dark Prince Road Series - Parker S. Huntington and LJ Shen - March 2023

This book has been sitting on my bookshelf for a while and it's a story, I have been meaning to read ever since it was first released. I decided as I have had a bad reading month, to grab it to give it a go. I was hooked by the first page which was like a prologue or summary that summed up the whole book in a few paragraphs. The book is set in the world of billionaires, debutantes, and Southern old-money manners. The type of world where the daughters have been promised to men that they have never met, engagements that are purely business related. Dallas is 21 years old and engaged to Madison Licht, she is your epitome of a rich, spoiled girl. One who doesn't care about anything but shopping and food. She has wasted her education skating through university. She is the type that will and hasn't ever worked a day in her life. All she wants in life is to be a mother - she has no other dreams or desires. Romeo is a businessman through and through and ruthless. He needs a bride to inherit his dad's business, just to bring it crashing down to the floor - to spite his hateful father. He chooses Dallas as Madison is also his arch-nemesis and because he simply can. Now Dallas is set to marry Romeo, a guy she loves to hate and hates to love. Can this spoilt brat learn to love Romeo and break his icy shell and will Romeo who had sworn off love after his heart was badly broken and betrayed, will his views of love and procreation change? Find out in this Beauty and the Beast Dark Romance-like tale - My Dark Romeo. I am now looking forward to reading Book #2 which will be Zach's story as he was one of my favorite side characters in this book.

  Review: Punk 57 - Penelope Douglas - October 2016 As soon as I read Bully by Penelope Douglas, I was in love with this author. So when she released a new one who had my favorite theme of penpals and that whole friend to lovers going on, I knew I had to read it.
