Review: Better Late than Never - Book #2 Gifted Series - Marilyn Kaye - June 2009
If you are like me and love stories about guys and girls with special gifts and abilities, then you will love the Gifted series which follows a classroom of students who can do one thing or another, something that makes them different and stand out from the rest of their peers. Each book tends to focus on one character primarily and then other characters tales as a secondary story. Better Late than Never focuses on Jenna Kelley whose gift is the ability to read minds, the thing is though that she can't read everyone's mind especially those related to her . When Jenna's mum ends up in rehab - Jenna goes to stay with fellow classmate Tracy Devon who has the ability to go invisible . Whilst staying at the Devon's a tall, dark stranger turns up claiming to be Jenna's long-lost dad . Jenna finds she can't read his mind and believes that he is her father . Is Stuart Kelley - the newcomer really Jenna's dad and is here to make up for lost time and as the saying goes he's here now and isn't that "better late than never" or will he turn out to be too good to be true and wanting to exploit Jenna's gift ?
Find out all this and more in Book #2 of the Gifted Series - Better Late than Never.
