Review: Bitter Blood - Rachel Caine

Have you been following the series "The Morganville Vampires" ?
Still a fan of the books as we move into Book #13 ?

Review: Bitter Blood - Book #13 Morganville Vampires Series - Rachel Caine - November 2012
Have you been dying to read more of Claire, Shane, Michael and Eve ? To see what they have been up to since the last book ? In Bitter Blood, like the previous few books since about Bite Club we see that Rachel Caine has decided to write each chapter from the POV of a different character - be it Eve, Claire, Shane, Michael and in Bitter Blood - Oliver, Amelie and Myrin also have their own chapters. With the draug and Bishop dead - Claire hoped that things would return to the way they were, but it seems that some of the vampires have a different idea and want to return to the "very old ways" of hunting humans etc. and it seems that there is a whole lot of new rules in place.  Will Claire and her friends be able to "act" under the new laws or will they band together to try and put a stop to it once and for all ? It also is discovered in Bitter Blood, that their is a masked avenger campaigning for human rights called Captain Obvious - however the more Captain Obvious gets the people rarked up, the worst it will come down on them. Can Claire, Shane and Monica find out who the new Captain Obvious is ? It seems that the town of Morganville has not only attracted Vampires but lately has become a home to several ghosts including Miranda and Alyssa. What will happen though when a team of Ghostbusters head into Morganville unaware of the more dangerous creatures that stalk in the night ?
As usual Bitter Blood was a good read, however the downside for me was that it contained too many different POVs and became a bit full on as a story. In saying that though, I am looking forward to reading Fall of the Night which I have on my Kindle to read.
