Review: Lollipop Lure - #Candy Shop Series Novella - Rita Delude - 2020

After reading Bubblegum Love and enjoying it and also I am a fan of some of the series that Crazy Ink Publishing releases, I knew It would be only a matter of time that I got around to reading Lollipop Lure by Rita Delude as I also love her books. The main character Honey has been through tragedy and a bit more as she is the type of character that when people see her they judge her by looks and label her immediately and don't make the effort to get to know her. When Honey was a bit younger, she suffered a tragedy in her life when she was abused. Due to her anxiety, she found sucking on lollipops a way to keep it in check but of course, this can cause a different reaction in teenagers which Honey is about to discover. When they arrive in the smalltown, she is instantly labeled and soon all the girls hate her when all she wants is a friend and people to see the real "her", the one that is broken and screaming for help. Can it take a previous newcomer to help the rest of the town, see Honey for the girl she is inside and teach them not to judge her by her outside - just as he was when he arrived in town during the book Bubblegum Love.  Lollipop Lure is a borderline Clean YA romance and a cutesy easy read.
