Review: A Hurt So Sweet - Volume #3 - Betti Rosewood / Isabella Starling
Review: A Hurt So Sweet - #Volume 3 - Betti Rosewood/ Isabella Starling - July 2020
First, off I have added the
name Betti Rosewood to the review as that was the name initially that Isabella
Starling was using to write this series but I noticed she has gone back to her name
on the cover of Volume #3. Volume #3 picks up where Volume #2 ended with
Lai calling Dexter as Pandora is a mess. She trusted Easton Brantley and look
where it got her, she ended up having sex with the other boys Caspian, Justin,
and Lai, and treated like dirt or as they use this term in the book a lot
"toy" whose use is to be used and then discarded like yesterday's
trash. When Emilian finds out she is ruined now by not just one but all five of
the founding family sons, this is his last straw and he strips her of her
firstborn rights and now Brazen has inherited the rights of Firstborn and
Tianna - second born so this has reduced Pandora - to absolute nothing ( which
puts her even lower than maids, etc). Now she is a free game for even the
lowest of lows to treat her like they can, but will Dexter who has started to feel
for her, make sure she is safe? In Volume #3 we also learn more about Lily Anna
and that she is the spitting personality of Emilian Oakes - the guy who raised
her. She is crazy and psychotic and now with being locked up for the last four
years as the "crazy woman in the attic" she is ready for freedom and
getting what she wants which is Dexter and taking her place back as Lily-Anna
Oakes which means getting rid of her competition - Pandora. This isn't going to
be easy but we know she will come up with a plan so twisted and devious like
the other Firstborns she was raised amongst. Like the previous books,
this one too ended on a major cliffhanger- one that will make you want to
immediately read the last book - #Volume Four and again it ends with Dexter
Booth trying to save the day.
