Those who are fans of Jessica Sorensen's books know that they are unfortunately books that you can't keep track of the order of the series as new ones are written as serials and they end up being attached to other series etc. Just like these particular books, The Secret Star Grove Mysteries are connected to The Secret series which was Ella and Micha / Lila and Ethan's books. This was fun to read and go back in time with these characters are previously the series of Jessica Sorensen's that I have been going through is the Unravelling Series which is the story of Lyric (Ella and Micha's daughter) and Ayden (Lila and Ethan's adopted son). In Ella and the Interrupted Road Trip, we read as Ella and Micha have just gotten married and now, they are on a music tour with Micha's band. Ella has just awoken and strange things are happening. As it turns out Micha has a stalker and now the pair are on edge as the stalker has compromising photos and a sex tape of the pair and threatening to go viral. Meanwhile, Ella gets a call from her dad to tell her that the police are re-opening a cold case that her mother was involved in - as readers remember that Ella's mother had Bipolar disease. We also have a small cameo of Lila and Ethan as the pair are having relationship problems, at least readers know that it is just a bump as they have a great marriage and relationship in the Unravelling series. This was a good read and perfect for fans of Jessica Sorensen that want to be reconnected with favorite past characters and looking for a quick read to pass the time and hit the spot.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old.
