Review: The Night Janitor - T.F Allen - May 2019

This was a suspenseful and thrilling read as we have three siblings - one who can kill with a whisper, one who can save with a touch and the other who can silence with a whisper. Growing up Luke and AnnaMarie went through life as slaves to their father's con ways as he was a faith preacher who one day when the pair of them no longer decided to play into his cons, they were left behind and AnnaMaria was attacked. As they grew older, the siblings went their separate ways. AnnaMaria became one of the world's most powerful females and is on her way to becoming president as with her power; no one can stand in her way. That is except for two people Luke and their younger brother. Luke has to keep on the move as AnnaMaria keeps sending her goons after him. What happens though when their father goes to a journalist who has the skills to track them all down? Now Luke, along with a newfound friend - a nurse must stay one step ahead to protect his younger brother from danger.  I quite enjoyed the suspense part of this book, and I found myself enjoying the personalities of the different siblings.  If you love Christian Fiction with an Edge, then check out The Night Janitor by T.F Allen.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
