Today's VBT# is author E. Van Lowe - author of the hit Teen Zombie Novel "Never Slow Dance with a Zombie" which is in fact on my TBR Pile , here with his latest novel "Boyfriend From Hell".

Wanting a tale about Love and finding it in the wrong places and with the wrong people ? For as long as Megan can remember , it has just been her and her mum Suze. Their close relationship reminded me throughout the novel like Gilmore Girls with Rory and Lorelai. Something that many of us envy. When Suze decides it's time to start dating and getting out on the bandwagon , Megan is repulsed. How can her mum start dating and isn't she supposed to be the one dating as the daughter ? We read as Megan and her two best friends Erin and Matt , help decide what to do in Operation Stop Suze Dating. As the novel gets on we soon discover that Megan and Suze both have dates - Megan's with a new guy from Mathletes and he's WOWZA too - Guy and Suze with art gallery owner Armando. Is this true love and meant to be or is it as we discover something more sinister as the two guys aren't who they seem. One is a Guardian Angel sent to protect Megan and her mother Suze , the other is in fact Satan in disguise and he's on the look to make Megan and Suze an addition to his home in Hell. We also read and discover what happens when hurt and jealousy begins to flood the lives of others in the story.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
