Always Be Mine (Sweetbriar Cove, #9)

Review: Always Be Mine - Book #9 Sweetbriar Cove - Melody Grace - March 2019

One of the things I love when I read Melody Grace's books is the crossing over of characters, a lot like Abbi Glines does with her series. Having crossovers makes the reader more invested I find in the series as when you read the books you are reunited with old friends, and you smile as your mind flashbacks to the book you read with that particular character in it. The other thing I love is that though it is a series, you can read the books as standalones. In Always Be Mine, we meet Lila Moore who is hiding out from Hollywood after she left her political fiance at the altar. For her, she realized it wasn't true love, the tabloids, on the other hand, painted her as an evil heartbreaker and poor Justin. Lila has been busy hiding out in the small town of Sweetbriar Cove where she had once been before with Dash and Blake Callahan - from the Callahan series. While hiding out at Rose Cottage, the landlord Alice had hired Griffin to do Lila's gardens, but their first meeting isn't perfect as she squirts him with a hose and accuses him of being a paparazzi/stalker. Griffin at first glance thinks Lila is a lot like his ex-wife Ruby. As the book goes along though we read as Griffin starts to soften and him and Lila connect. What will happen though when someone leaks photos of Lila, and she feels that Griffin isn't supportive and heads back to Hollywood? Is this just a fling for Griffin and Lila or will forgiveness and moving on be in the cards and reunite the lovers together again this time for good?
Find out in Book #9 of the Sweetbriar Cove series "Always Be Mine" by Melody Grace.
