Review: Charlie - Jennifer Hanks { The DiMarco Series}

Review: Charlie - Book #7 The DiMarco Series - Jennifer Hanks - May 2020

I have finally reached the last book in the DiMarco series with Book 7 - Charlie by Jennifer Hanks. For those who have followed my reviews through this series, you will know that the DiMarco's are one of my favourite families. Charlie is Grace's best friend and has always had a crush on Ben as we all know guys are clueless and a bit slow at knowing what they want as Ben loves Grace too and has for the past ten years. Ten years later, Charlie is still friends with the DiMarco family and Ben is single, but Charlie is in a relationship with Dex. The timing never seems to be right, that is until Charlie realizes that she is better off friends with Dex and ends up in a drunken romantic entanglement with Ben. The pair try to shrug it off as a one-night stand, but the truth is their feelings are real and strong. As the book goes along, we see the pair finally connect and get into a relationship. What happens though when Ben's ex-Jackie decides if she can't have Ben no one can and threatens to ruin Ben's life and Charlie's happiness? The other thing we see in this book is more proposals, weddings, and children being born. The other thing I loved about this book was the Epilogue of Ten Years Later which made me wonder whether Jennifer would create a spin-off series based on the next generation of the DiMarco Children. If you love family sagas, then check out The DiMarco series by Jennifer Hanks as you will not be disappointed.
