Review: Love Redesigned - Lauren Asher

Review: Love Redesigned -Book #1 Lakefront Billionaires - Lauren Asher - November 2023

Love Redesigned starts literally with a crash and a bang and a grand entrance for both of the main characters Julian and Dahlia. These two have a history with their parents being best friends and for a time it looked like they would be college sweethearts, that was until Julian's dad died and then Dahlia ended up with his roommate Oliver. Now years later, both of them have made a name for each other with Julian being half of the Lopez Luxury Building and Dahlia Munoz being half of an Interior design show with Oliver - her now ex-fiance. Both of them are now back in their hometowns and of course, their mothers are determined to reunite them together and play matchmaker. Dahlia is convinced she is only going to be here for the Summer and when the house of her dreams becomes available, it puts her right on Julian's path as he also wants this house. This project then leads them both to work together, but will life have another path for them as the house is supposedly haunted and cursed and everything that can go wrong, well is going wrong. When Summer comes to an end, will Julian and Dahlia go their separate ways again or this time - will one of them fight for the relationship to stay together? The other couple of things I liked about this series was that it crosses over with her series Dreamland Billionaires as we saw the Callahan’s talked about in this book and also as both characters were Spanish. There was a little bit of Spanish sprinkled throughout the pages and at the bottom was a translation in a little text box.  Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher is another great small-town second chance romance and now I am looking forward to reading when released Book #2 in the Lakefront Billionaires series by Lauren Asher which I assume will be Rafe and Eleanor's tale.
