Are you a fan of Dark Fiction ? Looking for a dark romance type read ? Something with an edge and a kick ? In Lost and Bound, we meet Leila who was kidnapped from Brazil and sold as a Sex Slave to William Osborne - the Mayor of a small town in America called Merling. It has been 2 years, 38 weeks and 4 days since she has seen anyone else besides Osborne and the maid Rosa. That is until on a surprise visit - his son Callum comes home and discovers Leila and the fact he has been keeping her in his basement for the past nearly three years. We learn that Callum's dad is sick as he calls her Emmy and makes her wear the same clothes as Callum's mother did , make-up etc. This book also contains sexual abuse and BDSM as Leila aka Emmy is a sex slave brought for Osborne's pleasure. As the book goes along, we read as Callum's wants to help her escape but what will happen when his dad discovers the plan , will Callum discover a whole new side of his father - one that could ultimately kill him ? Will Leila and Callum ever be really free of William's hand or will they die trying ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers.
