Review: Beautiful Days - Book #2 Bright Young Things Series -September 2011
I suggest to readers , that if you have not read Bright Young Things - Book #1 in this series, then read that first before Beautiful Days as you will be rather confused with what is happening and who's who. At the end of Bright Young Things to refresh readers , we saw the Grey's father killed and Charlie and Cordelia were set to inherit their father's wealth. Cordelia's newfound friend Astrid is dating Charlie and Letty - Cordelia's friend from their hometown of Ohio has reunited with Cordelia and living with her on the estate.
In Beautiful Days, tensions are rising as Astrid and Charlie announce their engagement - but are the twosome ready to settle down ? Can Astrid bear to be married to the son of a Bootlegger ? Letty dreams of being a star , what happens when after an audition her voice is heard by none other than Hollywood actor and her idol Valentine O'Dell ? Has Letty got what it takes to be a star or will nerves get at her ?
Also with romance in the air - will Cordelia finally get her Pilot Max or will he believe everything he reads and will Letty find love with Grady or will his family look down on her as the lowly farm girl she originated as ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost.
