Review: Finger Lickin' Fifteen - Janet Evanovich

Wow, I'm coming up fast and soon it will be time to say sayonara to Stephanie Plum and her band of friends as I have just finished Book #15 /19 .
Today's review is Book #15 of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

Review: Finger Lickin' Fifteen - Book #15 Stephanie Plum Series - June 2009
This book was a little different in some aspects than the previous #14 Stephanie Plum books - well #13 if you minus book #1 where we were introduced to Lula on Stephanie's fire escape- strung up for the world to see. In Finger Lickin' Fifteen , it's Lula who witnesses a murder and not just a normal murder but a decapitation right in front of her car along with a meat cleaver and a giggling maniac. Spotting Lula, her life is now in danger as for a change the killers are after Lula not Stephanie but since the pair seem to be inseparable Stephanie is as usual finding herself bang smack into the middle of the trouble when of course we have the usual multiple car fires and bombs, gunshots galore. We also discover that sometime between book #14 and book #15 - Morelli and Stephanie had an argument about Peanut Butter and have decided to split ways , but how long will this last ? Long enough for Ranger and Stephanie to get together as she finds herself spending more and more time at Ranger's in Finger Lickin' Fifteen as he hires her to help sniff out a mole he may have on his team. It seems though that someone loves to have ALL of Stephanie's leftovers as Joyce Barnhardt - Stephanie's arch-enemy starts to spend some close-up time with Morelli.  In Finger Lickin' Fifteen we also meet Larry - a Cross dresser that could give Sally Sweet a run for her/his money and we watch as Lula and Grandma Mazur try their hand at cooking ribs as they decide to try their luck at undercover work to help solve the Chipolte murder Lula witnessed.
Another great book in the Stephanie Plum series and I look forward to getting stuck into
Book #16 and seeing where that takes me.
