Review: Stolen - Carey Baldwin

Stolen (Cassidy & Spenser, #4)

Review: Stolen - Book #4 Cassidy and Spenser Series - Carey Baldwin - February 2017
When a daughter of a Senator goes missing, Psychiatrist Cassidy and FBI BAU member Spenser are called to help. Laura Chaucer went out with friends and never returned. This case is special though as not only is she a high-profile and her father is a Senator. This is the second time she has disappeared, and thirteen years ago when she last disappeared with her nanny, only Laura returned home alive. As the days pass, though Cassidy and Spenser will discover a pattern and a dark one at that which will lead to many other cold cases being solved as they uncover a decade plus murderer. Why is Laura at the center of it and is she being used as a patsy? Stolen was quite a complex murder mystery and took lots of twists and turns and focused more on the profiling side of the case rather than the murder and mystery gruesome part of serial killer books which made it a slower read than I am normally used to. If you are looking for a new author to discover, then check out Stolen by Casey Baldwin - Book #4 in the Cassidy and Spenser series, but can be read as a stand-alone book.
