Review: Suspicion - Kate Brian

Today's book is part of a series I read awhile back called "Private" by Kate Brian . Our Library only had a few books of the series at the time , but they have just gotten a few more in the series. Suspicion is Book #10 in the series.

Emily: I'm sorry. You were on the phone?

Richard: Long distance.
Lorelai: God?
Richard: London.
Lorelai: God lives in London?
Richard: My mother lives in London.
Lorelai: Your mother is God?
Richard: Lorelai.
Lorelai: So, God *is* a woman.
Richard: Lorelai.
Lorelai: *And* a relative. That's so cool. I'm gonna totally ask for favors.
Richard: Make her stop.
Rory: Oh, that I could.

Suspicion (Private, Book 10)

Review : Suspicion - Private Series #10- Kate Brian - 2009

It's winter break and the girls at Eatston Academy are ready to forget the tragedy that happened last term with Reed Brennan's then boyfriend and first love Thomas Pearson being killed with a baseball bat by Ariana Osgood a former Billings Girl. Hoping for a fresh start away from anything tragic , Reed and her friends hit the beaches of Saint Bart's in the Carribean where she is about to get hot and heavy with a new boyfriend Upton. However of course, it wouldn't be a Private series novel without a bit of sex, scandal and intrigue throughout the pages as we discover somebody is out to kill Reed and want Upton all to herself, is it a jealous girlfriend or has somebody hired professional hitman? Can Reed save herself not once, not twice , not even three times but four as each attempt becomes more deadlier than the first and trust me when I say they won't give up till either they're caught or Reed is six feet under.
And can the experience of their holiday prepare them for the ultimate shock once they return back to school, their precious home "Billings Hall" is no longer there at all , its just a pile of rubble? Where will the Billings girls relocate and without their Hall what will they become -just another body. Find out in Book #11 -Scandal. Private Series is for fans of the Upper East Side series "Gossip Girl" and Vampire Series "Vamps" and "Blue Bloods".
