A Dox On Both Your Houses (Geek Actually #1.8)

Review: Geek Actually - Episode #8 - A Dox on Both of Your Houses - Cathy Yardley - July 2017

Taneesha is still getting doxed, and things are escalating, and she is feeling like there is no hope of it ever stopping.  She vents to her friends about what is happening on their chat line and Christina decides to take things into her own hands and play the Justice Queen and get some revenge on the guy who doxed her. Christina hops onto Reddit and starts a conversation line and releases Steven's details. This causes Steven to go to HR, and Taneesha called in, and one thing leads to another, and they are both suspended with pay. This got me thinking as Taneesha tried to go to HR and nothing was put into place, and then a male goes and wham bam investigation time. A Dox on Both Of Your Houses focuses on Gender inequality as it's not just Taneesha being discriminated as a result of Aditi's Jezebel article, Michelle has been called in to apologize to Sterling Knight -a chauvinist male author and her job rely on his happiness. Reading A Dox on Both of Your Houses got me thinking as even though we are in the 21st century, there is still this line between male and females in all aspects of life and males seem to have the upper hand and more power still. I have to admit I am kind of sad that this serial is nearly coming to an end as I have enjoyed reading the Geek Actually episodes.
