Princess Ballot (Royals of Arbon Academy, #1)

Review: Princess Ballot- Book #1 Royals of Arbon Academy - December 2019

What an amazing book this turned out to be, the ending which is a cliffhanger ending as well BTW, had me going OMFG as I couldn't believe what had been revealed to the readers. It blew me away as I did not expect that scene to unfold as it had. I am now eager to read Book #2 and to see if anyone believes Violet or what she will do with this newfound information or the very least how she will react. Princess Ballot starts with the introduction to Violet Spencer who is almost 18 and has been living in the foster care system and at a group home. Her plan was to next year attend college with her best friend, but that is upended when she learns she has been selected as the new scholarship case to the elite royalty school Arbon Academy. Here Violet meets a handful of royals and some will befriend her and others will treat her like the scum of the earth. Soon Violet captures the attention of two Royals and the thing that makes it worst is that these royals are arch-enemies and now Violet is caught in the middle of their feud and another pawn to play with. As the story goes on and rumors are spread, lines are drawn and players are underestimated - will Violet choose carefully as one has the power to ruin her reputation and crush her bones whereas the other is very manipulative and has the power to break her heart and ruin her soul for the rest of her life. Find out in this amazing start to a great series that I cannot wait to continue reading the rest of Violet Spencer's adventures and hijinks at Arbon Academy.
