Are you like me and read all the Chicken Soup for the Soul books ? Are you a fan of Country and Western music again like myself? If so, then this is the book for you. It has a collection of stories from singers, songwriters - the guys behind all those famous Country and Western Songs like Harper Valley PTA and Walk the Line. Each story contains the meaning behind the song , why it was written and how it came about it and for those lyric lovers out there, each story also contains the lyrics to the song so you whilst reading the tale you can hum along or sing along to the song.
Songs tell a story, and now many of country music’s most famous singers and songwriters are sharing more of the story! These artists reveal the inspiration, influence, and background, and when and why they wrote their most famous songs, in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Country Music. The book also includes great photos of the songwriters and all of the lyrics. A great gift for anyone who loves country music!

  Review: Punk 57 - Penelope Douglas - October 2016 As soon as I read Bully by Penelope Douglas, I was in love with this author. So when she released a new one who had my favorite theme of penpals and that whole friend to lovers going on, I knew I had to read it. The book started out with a bit of background where we learned about how Misha and Ryen were placed together in a classroom project penpal program. The pair continues to write to each other right through the year, and then they take it to the next level and continue through the rest of their schooling. Fast forward to high school Misha is in a band and Ryen is out with her friends and they complete a scavenger hunt form. Ryen is not what Misha expected especially from her letters. Tragedy occurs, and Misha turns up at Ryen's school under a fake name.
